The British Library's current exhibition on Queen Elizabeth and Mary Queen of Scots explores the world of world of plots, espionage and treachery.

Museo Design created a stylised quill pen illustration of the two rival queens intwined by a thistle and a rose. Delicate foiling was applied to art prints, recycled leather notebooks and key fobs.
