I'm Craig Yamey, a graphic designer and illustrator with over 25 years of experience creating bestselling retail ranges for museums, galleries and cultural institutions.
I founded MUSEO DESIGN to help museums turn stories into products. Drawing on archives, collections and exhibitions, I create distinctive shop ranges that connect visitors with the subjects they love and give them something meaningful to take home.
Clients include the British Library, Houses of Parliament, Science Museum, Westminster Abbey and Royal Museums Greenwich. Every project is different, from playful children's ranges inspired by historic collections to psychedelic Alice in Wonderland merchandise.
My approach is rooted in storytelling rather than a fixed visual style. Every collection begins with the subject matter, creating designs that feel authentic, engaging and commercially successful.
Designing for museum retail is about more than attractive graphics. Every product needs to tell a story while earning its place on the shelf. It's a challenge I've enjoyed solving for over 25 years.
